Faroese Vonin is one of our valued returning customers who uses Flume Tank North Sea for a variety of purposes.

Recently, Vónin invited around 50 guests to a full day of demonstrations of around 10 different nets in the flume tank. More specifically, the morning was spent demonstrating various bottom trawls, while the afternoon was devoted to demonstrations of pelagic trawls

Vonin uses events like this to nurture customer relationships, and once again they had a really good experience in Hirtshals, explains marketing manager Robert Sivertsen.

“It's great to be in the flume tank and show our customers the equipment. The tank gives us lots of opportunities, and the guests were very impressed and followed along with great interest,” he says.

“There are not many similar forums where you can geek out like this. At Flume Tank North Sea, we can go into detail in a way that we cannot by showing pictures or videos of the equipment to our customers. It is very valuable, and our customers find it really exciting.”

In addition to demonstrations for customers, Vonin also uses the flume tank to develop new equipment.
