North Sea Science Park in Hirtshals provides the physical framework for research, development, consulting, and communication within the fields of marine science, aquaculture, fisheries, green energy, and much more.

The North Sea Science Park has a total of more than 20,000 square meters of buildings on 119,000 square meters of land a few hundred meters from the North Sea.

A wide range of offices, laboratories, test facilities, production facilities, and a direct supply of salt water from the sea ensure that tenants at the Science Park have the optimal conditions for their businesses.

The Science Park is home to several different companies associated with the blue industry.

These include Europe's largest flume tank, Flume Tank North Sea, where tests, measurements, and demonstrations of equipment for fishing, aquaculture, and underwater technology are carried out.

In addition, the North Sea Science Park is also home to DTU Hirtshals Campus, where first-class research in aquaculture and fishing technology is conducted.

DTU Hirtshals Campus also houses two DTU programs in sustainable fisheries and aquaculture, which attract students from all over the world.
